When i visited New Zealand we spent a day in and around Auckland. A great overview you get from the Mount eden and of course from the Sky Tower. It is beautiful to stroll through the streets and Shops in Downtown and have dinner at the waitemata Harbour.
We also went to a winery to taste the fantastic new zealand wines and got first impressions from the culture of the Maori at the Auckland War Mamorial Museum. I can also recommend to do a small side trip to devonport. which is a lovely Suburb of Auckland with it’s simply delightful victorian houses.
