Years ago i was in Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America.

La Recoleta Cemetery is a cemetery located in the Recoleta neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It contains the graves of notable people, including Eva Perón, presidents of Argentina, Nobel Prize winners, the founder of the Argentine Navy, and a granddaughter of Napoleon. In 2011, the BBC hailed it as one of the world’s best cemeteries,^] and in 2013, CNN listed it among the 10 most beautiful cemeteries in the world. For me it was the most impressive cemetery I’ve ever seen.

 

 

 

 

 

Palermo Norte, Alto Palermo and Villa Freud

Alto Palermo is downtown Palermo, the main shopping area and transport hub around Santa Fe Avenue. Centered on Las Heras Park and the Alto Palermo Shopping Center, this section is the eastern-most edge of Palermo and borders the Recoleta section known as Barrio Norte. It is the best location to shop, dine and to inhale the charme of the city.
